When you start your new career after receiving services through Mendocino Works, our committment to you doesn't stop there. We will continue to support you over a one-year period to ensure your continued employment and to provide you with additional support during your first year of employment. 
The follow-up period also applies to our youth clients to ensure their continued participation and success in school and/or employment.
This assistance may include answering the many questions or concerns that can come up during the first year of employment and providing additional job information such as: how to ask for a raise, how to apply for another position with your employer, and additional placement assistance if necessary.
We will also ask questions about your employment, wages (and wage increase), benefits, etc. Our primary focus is to assist you in maintaining your career path. You may be selected to participate in a state-wide customer satisfaction survey. When you are conacted, the questions will take less than ten minutes to answer and all information you provide will be confidential.
