Work Experience
Make a difference in turning someone's life around - and save money too! Here's how it works:
- You provide a trainee either a youth or adult 18 years old and older, with valuable work skills training
- You train an individual for 12 weeks
- You pay nothing
- You incur no obligation to hire
- WE are the employer of record and WE pay the trainee's wages and workers comp
- Tax credits of up to $8,500 are possible through the work experience program
Your cost-saving benefits:
- 100% of the wages are paid by MPIC (wage negotiable) for up to 300 hours.
- Length of internship is determined by the training offered.
- Workers Comp and state and federal taxes are paid by MPIC.
- MPIC maintains all payroll records during the training period.
- MPIC may assist with the cost of tools or uniforms needed.
On-the-Job Training

Our most popular business incentive is On-the-Job Training (OJT), a program designed to help you offset the costs associated with training a new employee.
How does On-The-Job Training work?
On-The-Job Training (OJT) assists your company with the costs of training new employees by compensating you up to 50% of your trainee's wages for a period up to six months. This means if you hire an individual through an OJT, at $10.00 per hour, 40 hours per week, at the end of six months, you will have saved $5,200!
And that's not all... YOU hire and YOU train - selecting from a pool of motivated, qualified, prescreened applicants. A minimum of paperwork is involved - and there's absolutely no cost to you.
